Sundance Gets Connected with Aruba

When planning a major annual event, one of the most important factors to consider is ubiquitous Internet connectivity for guests. Mobile data usage has doubled since 2015, with event guests increasingly uploading photos, videos and social posts. This particularly holds true for Sundance Film Festival, which this year has an expected daily attendance of 20,000 guests. This influx of guests and their need for pervasive mobile connectivity means the onsite IT team needs a Wi-Fi network that can support thousands of devices simultaneously pushing bandwidth demands to the limit.

Read how Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, and its partner AT&T are enabling guests and celebrities at the event to tweet movie updates, Snapchat, and upload selfies to their favorite social media sites.
