Hey Airheads!
November is all about raising awareness for men's health and this year we are asking Arubans, partners, and Airheads community members to join The Movember Foundation annual Movember campaign.
About the Movember Foundation
The foundation is dedicated to changing the face of men's health by increasing the understanding of the health risks that men face and encourage them to act on that knowledge.
They have raised $559M to date and funded over 800 programs in 21 countries. See the programs here.
The "power of the mo" has sparked over a billion significant conversations about men's health and recent research results show that:
- 75% of men were more aware of the health risks they face
- 62% went to see a medical professional to improve their health
- 50% told someone they should take action to improve their health
Over 4 million mustaches have been grown worldwide, but it doesn't stop there.
We are looking for 100 locally and globally mustaches and help in raising $10,000. You don't need mustache-growing skills to participate! Get creative, all finger mustaches, stickers, non-permanent ink mustaches, are accepted.
Our purpose is to help drive awareness, raise funds and having fun!
