Everyone needs a little help getting started in their careers, whether it be a mentor, books, rack rentals, or hardware. Communities like AirHeads gives everyone the chance to have a mentor to help you understand deployment and configuration scenarios, but software and hardware sometimes can be harder to come by. That is the goal of The Next WiFi Rockstar, provide a means for people to get the software and hardware they need in their hands. Aruba Networks, along with other WiFi vendors is sponsoring the prize package for the winner by providing an AP-225 802.11ac Access Point and a 7005 Wireless LAN Controller.
So how can you win? It's pretty simple and your odds are high. We want you to create a short 5 minute or less video explaining why you are The Next WiFi Rockstar. This video can be serious or fun in nature, maybe you are rocking a ghetto Linksys lab for your CWNA studies, maybe you are just getting started and don't have any gear, whatever the situation make a quick video explaining why you deserve to win. Post it up to Youtube or Vimeo, follow @NSAShow on twitter, and tweet us the link to your video with the hashtag #TheNextWiFiRockstar before 11:59pm CST on December 12th 2014. After we have reviewed all the entries the NSA Show will be picking their top 5 favorite videos. These 5 videos will then be voted on by the community and the sponsor to pick their favorite and ultimately crown The Next WiFi Rockstar.
